Alban BESSON documented three artists participating in the collective project “Atterrati in a whirlwind of fog,” conceived at Villa Cozza in Macerata (IRCR) in collaboration with former art teachers Fiorella and Nazzareno.
This intergenerational participatory project illustrates the philosophy of Villa Cozza: to create a serene environment where each resident can live a life full of meaning and significance. The three tempera paintings (120 x 60 cm) depict the earthen houses of Villa Ficana—a symbol of the connection to a past of simple, dignified, and environmentally respectful living.
These humanistic portraits capture the three artists in their personal living environment, revealing the passion, commitment, and desire for expression that characterize this collaborative work, where emotional involvement and human relationships take precedence over the final result. Each image bears witness to the creative vitality and dignity at the heart of this intergenerational project.
